Saint Dominic dared to cross a path which others didn't. He was only armed with a book and a staff but yet he achieved greatness. He preached to people about God and started an order, the Dominican order. He prayed every night and he was a humble man. The conversion of sinners is what he wished for. He had a saying "It's better to have grace than a sword, it's better to wear humility than fancy clothes". Some members of the Order of Preachers, which became the Dominican order were; St. Peter, St. Louis and St. Rose of Lima. St. Dominic was a preacher a man full of grace, patience and truth. He is important to St Joseph's because his order founded our school and he taught us about peace, reverence and how to live with God.
